Prerequisites

The robot agent runs in a Windows environment and requires:

• Windows 10 or higher with 20 GB of disk space and 8 gb of RAM.

• Windows Server 2016 with 20 GB of disk space and 8 gb of RAM.

• Python installed from https://www.python.org/.

• User with administrator permissions to run the agent service.

Consider that the robot will use native applications, which must take into account the ram memory and CPU requirements necessary to run the applications used by the bots.

A “base robot” will use between 200 and 350 mb of RAM depending on the number of workflows, detectors, etc. to which its current user also has access.

On most common hardware, the robot should not use any CPU while idle, but on some low-end computers it is not uncommon to see CPU usage of 2 to 4% even when the robot is idle.
